buying hoses and extras...

So i'm in the middle or replacing a bunch of stuff on my car. Giving it a once over since I bought it "new to me".
I'm going to buy extra fuel filters (primary and secondary), some fuses, hose clamps, cigar hose, tank filter, tank line to supply, etc to store in the trunk.

I found some inexpensive 5/16 fuel line at autozone. Anyone know if this is close-enough in fit? Also, will it degrade if I store it in the trunk?

5/16" ID hose replaces 7mm/7.5mm ID hose nicely.
