How Remove Rear Bumper on 1987 300TD (W124)?

I'm replacing the rubber "thing" that attaches to the fender just under the top edge of the right rear bumper on my 1987 300TD Wagon. It runs down the side (to the rear of the wheel well) and around under the tail light. I can get the side of the bumper loose, no problem. I think I have to get to some bolts from the inside, but don't know what to remove inside or how to remove it to get to the bolts. I haven't found any info anywhere about how to do this.
Any suggestions?
John
