One light comes on but the other doesn't. The bulb looked good but I didn't ohm it or check for voltage. I hear the flasher click when the hazards are on. Where is it and I can check that, too. Neither right or left flashers work with the turn signal switch but all of them flash with the hazard switch.

Myself ,I usually start with the easy stuff first when a new car comes into the fold ,new fuel filters ,drain the powersteering reservoir and add new trannie fluid here ,new oil with filter ,new trannie fluid with filter (you can usually reuse the rubber pan gasket ),drain and flush the radiator, then its your call when you keep up the maintenence. The window problem is almost always the switch, the seats when replacing- make sure you get the right ones ,some have different clips for powering the seats, depends on the year. The directionals can be the rear light panel assembly ,bad or rotten connection to the ground or bad panel itself. If you got the column opened up also check to see if your turn signal switch feels lose ,it could be worn out or broken ,its an easy replacement from the yard.New motor mounts will make a smoother quiter motor bay ,youll be surprised. You really have a list but its an $850 car that still has plenty to offer ,its alittle labor but thats half the fun.

The switch feels OK and it even holds both positions well. I was looking for the pins/wires I need to short in order to activate the turn signals thus bypassing the switch to see if the problem is further down in the electrical system. Front nor rear lights come on as it is and I don't hear the clicker under the dash.

According to the fuse panel map, they are. All fuses are intact except the blower motor which just blew today for no apparent reason after I tested the AC.

@ Eaton--- The blower motor has brushes on either side of the motor located behind the glove box take off the knee board and there is a cover covering the blower motor assy 4 screws and 3 or 4 screws holding the blower motor in then it pulls straight down and out save the blower wheel!!! The motor is about 100 bux I think at rock auto or ********az if its ******** I can get you a discount... Let me know **sounds like your motor has a dead short to blow that inline fuse...

It was the fuse. I replaced it with one I got from O'Reilly's and the fan blows again. It only blows from the defrost but that is better than nothing at all. Seems like the A/C works but needs a charge. The compressor squeaks but the lines get cool and it blows cool air.

Here's an update on the car.

I found a used turn signal assembly and that fixed the turn signal issue. I replaced both fuel filters. Fresh oil and filter. I installed a new shaft seal on the power steering pump and flushed the system. Sealed the washer tank and pump with RTV so it holds water now. Bypassed vac lines to EGR and the thingy on the top of the valve cover. I still need to get the EGR delete kit.

The biggest noticeable thing I did was install a new Interstate Group 49 battery. I cleaned up the terminals and the ground point and coated it all with a liberal amount of marine grease.
I think this video will illustrate the massive difference the new battery makes.

Mind you this cold start is with my foot off the accelerator. GP strip fuse is bypassed with a gator clip until I can find a source that actually has them in stock.
