Johnson controls makes many different labeled batteries. Including, Interstate AND Optima! The Optima batteries are not what they use to be. When Optima was it's own company they were outstanding. Nowadays you are better off with a group 49 from any parts place or Wal-mart. There is only Deka, Exide, and Johnson Controls left. Lots of labels, 3 manufacturers. I think Deka is the best built one's. They even make a group 49 AGM now.

Yeah, I thought of that as I wrote it. Price really jumped too since I bought it. I also bought one two years ago for my ponton. All is well there so far and it gets really limited use.
