well, I wouldn't say it's substantially better than PB, but it's awesome, and it does not smell like you used 50 year old gasoline on your car.

Kroil can be ordered directly from the factory. Penetrating-Lubricating Oils

"The April/May 2007 edition of Machinist's Workshop did a test of
penetrating oils where they measured the force required to loosen
rusty test devices. Buy the issue if you want to see how they did the
test. The results reported were interesting. The lower the number of
pounds the better. Mighty interesting results for simple acetone and
tranny fluid!

Penetrating oil . Average load .. Price per fluid ounce
None ................. 516 pounds .
WD-40 .............. 238 pounds .. $0.25
PB Blaster ......... 214 pounds .. $0.35
Liquid Wrench ... 127 pounds .. $0.21
Kano Kroil ........ 106 pounds .. $0.75
ATF-Acetone mix.. 53 pounds .. $0.10

The ATF-Acetone mix was a 50/50 mix (1 to 1 ratio)."

We use ATF/Acetone all the time. Easy to mix, cheap, works a treat.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'll have to try the atf/acetone mix sometime.

The trick is keeping it from separating out. A simple shake of the can before using will usually do.

Order some KREEN while you're at it!
It's amazing, been raving about it over on Benzworld:
Kreen? - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

I'll be posting more testimonial onto that thread soon

Turns out that this is an old deal that did not include shipping and at an old price. They just had a price increase. Now $14.50 + $5.95 for shipping and handling. I've used it for years and nothing like it. It's still worth it. Two Cans!

What were you expecting from a thread over a year old?

Get on the Kano Labs mailing list and they will (eventually) send you a free trial offer for Aero Kroil.
