Transmission Adapter Plate Thickness
 
So I have my 617.952 pulled out of the car and on a stand. I recently also pulled the FM146 from my target truck.

What material and thickness should I look to make my bell housing adapter from? I had 3/4" aluminum (18"x18") quoted at $160 :eek: locally, that seems a tad bit high...

My 4x4 labs 61x to SBC adapter plate is 3/4" plate al.
