Thank you Sixto

Your guide was very helpful, just finished replacing the tensioner, pulley and viscous fan. Really great walk through and relatively easy to do. I was able to do this without removing the radiator and once the fan and shroud were out plenty of room. Only thing different was I took the WP pulley off, four bolts, to get enough room to line up the tensioner bolt right. The Febi part I got was a smidge bigger and bumped the WPP than the MB one I took off.

Having done this once, I will go back and do the dampener and spring on my next parts buy, which of course is sooner than I think

OT, the ACM viscous clutch is pn# 6062000022 and was reasonably priced I guess "they" stopped making the 603 version. I might give refilling the old one as mention in other threads as a spare.

Thanks

Treetops

If by chance the serpentine belt got itself wrapped around the crank pulley/balancer be aware that when that happens it can damage the crank seal in the process. It probably isn't worth trying to figure out if that happened but be aware and keep an eye on any oil leaks that might manifest themselves seeming to come from that area as potential "collateral damage"!

Thumbs up Further Issues

THANK YOU ! .

He hates to ever clean anything (I see cleaner cars in Junk Yards) so the engine is fairly dirty .

We'll see how this all goes, I'm waiting for him to order the parts now .

Yes, if you are using Chrome, I installed this last week. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embedded-imag/ogipgokcopooepeipngiikdkpmcpkaon?hl=en-US
It installed in seconds and works great, I can see all PB photos now.
