Oil seperator: 617

So in the process of removing my air cleaner in order to rebuild my SLS hydraulic line, I broke what little was left of the welding job that was holding the drain nipple on the bottom of my air cleaner.

I have put it back together and driven it, with what I am assuming is a fairly small but insignificant oil drip as I drive??

I want to repair it. My question is: can I find a shop that will be able to repair the repair? I noticed a small crack in the housing next to the drain pipe. Is it worth trying to repair? Do I look for replacement? Thanks

Thanks, I will post a picture tomorrow.
It didn't look to me like I could replace just the drip 'cup' and the nipple. It looked like it was some kind of factory press through and attachment. I'd love to be wrong about that. I just can't do too much dissection, as it is my daily driver and don't want to do any more damage...

Okay. Had a chance to pull it all apart between snow flakes today. I'm getting good at this
Here are a couple of photos of the break. That mess around the base is the remnants of a previous not so pretty weld...didn't hold. Also there is a hairline stress crack in the bottom of that cup.

Is this whole cup and pipe assembly replaceable? As i said earlier, it doesn't look like there is any pretty way to get this apart. Anyone ever dealt with this situation before?

t walgamuth - if you think you have the part that could replace this let me know... I'm all ears.

If there is a junk yard nearby, see if they have the bottom half of the air cleaner.
