Id probably offer 12-15k on that. Think about is as a reliable diesel that will last you 20 years, and 250k. I would drive the snot out of it.

You would basically be buying a *new* car for not new money.

What repels me from the car...the rims...the dark tint...and the clear coat paint job...looks like if I bought it I would need to be selling crack or have my hoes in the back

Also with all that money spent on it, you would think he could at least replace the primer pump and get the correct vac pump to brake booster hose. Also there is no mention of the ip being rebuilt...most of the time..the engine gets rebuilt and not the ip...also no mention of anything done to the tank, suspension, rear axles, brakes or seats.

If this car came from a collector with very little use, I would imagine there would be rotted rubber and things growing in the tank and early w123 didn't have treated horse hair...stuff just crumbles...for that money I would want more photos and more minor things done.

Gorgeous car indeed. Hopefully someone will capture the images and post them since in 90 days they will be gone making this thread irrellevant.

I agree that is one of the cleanest W123 sedans I have seen in a while.

No nothing about the flywheel and really pretty quiet about the turbo also. I think he tries to imply it is a 300D turbo, but lets the cat out of the bag by saying his setup is a much better performer then a 300D turbo automatic. I say $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 tops.

It's probably worth $14K-$18K. Sure it is not original but it is very tastefully done. The interior is in great shape and the right color. No chance the horsehair has disintegrated. Very nice looking car in my opinion. As long as he keeps the price above $20K my guess is that he will receive little interest.
