No start in cold - diagnosis problem
Hi guys! So I own a garage with diagnostic equipment, and I often deal with diesel engines that have got many difficulties when it comes to starting up in low temperatures. Then the VCDS doesn't show any fault codes and during the start-up, the parameters it indicates are not that accurate.I need something to precisely analyze the increase of high-pressure in common rail during the engine start- up. Has anyone got any experience in that field? I came across this http://auto-testers.com/ and they've got something like EDIA-5 electrcal diesel injection analyzer. Do you think it's worth it? Or should I just let it be as it as it is and not waste money on any additional devices?
Thanks for any help PS. To Mods, I apologize if posting links is against the rules in here, just remove 'em if so. |

No, that device is not worth it. Don't waste your money on it.
