DIY GP Wiring harness?
Hi.
Tried to start my car but it wouldn't. Had a look inside the engine room and sure enough glow plug wires were toast. Things is, wiring harness is super-expensive in my country. Is it possible to make a harness yourself, or is there something to look out for? Anyone got a part nr for the harness? Can try to find a harness overseas or something. EDIT: The car is a w140 603. |

where?
Which country are you located in?
How expensive is the glow plug wiring harness there?

That would be Norway. It's just under $360 I guess. On top, I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. Would be nice to be able to finish up now when I'm already working on the car.

I have a couple of other questions but I'll just make a new general thread instead of making several small ones

It should be easy to make your own from 6 lengths of wire as long as you have the old one to copy.

Still have the old one. Been looking around for wires and I'm waiting on a quote for some ölflex wiring. Flex, heat resistant, oil/chemical resistant, should be good wiring.
