"sensen" shocks & struts?

Anybody here ever hear of a brand of shocks & struts called Sensen? I know they are cheap and I also know the old expression that "you get what you pay for", but money is tight right now & I really need new front struts on my 300CD.

Comments? Suggestions? Experiences?

A '78 300CD doesn't have front struts.

I've never heard of that brand but I see they're $17 each at [edit] a major online auto parts discounter. Double that gets you KYB or Monroe equivalents. Double that gets you Boge or Bilstein. The economy of paying more comes from how long they'll last. How long do you plan to keep your car? Regardless, if you can't afford $130, you can't afford $130. Do what you have to.

I used them on the front of my 87 300TD. Good stuff for the $. But as previously stated, shocks are on the front of a W123.

My bad! :o I'm still learning

I got confused when I got to the "Select Model" step:

ZHEJIANG SENSEN AUTOMOBILE PARTS CO.,LTD

In general Chinese made parts don't last. For that matter most anything made in China doesn't seem to last. If you can afford to not use them I would but we all understand that money is tight and you gotta do what you have to sometimes. You never know those shock may last a long time.

I did a search on the forum for sensen and this post it the only one that came up, so it's not likely that anyone here has every used sensen parts and maybe not even heard of them.

LMFAO! Wow, man.... just "wow" :D

yeah, i'd say their webmaster needs to be taken out back & "tuned up" with a bent rusty shock & then maybe an angry Rottweiler for good measure!

I found their products being sold by numerous vendors on eBay, but found much better pricing at a different online vendor of auto parts, who's name I am apparently not allowed to type here????

You mean -- parts haus who should not be named.com

You would be better off getting a set of PNP shocks. think they are like $9.

Clicked on the model, and the drop down box looks like chicken scratch. I clicked on one of them and it says "sorry, you query the content does not exist".

I think DP, like me, means a site named after a type of music that gained popularity in the '60s.

The trouble is, Charlie, you don't speak chicken scratch :) I got the same thing but try the model dropdown again after getting the content does not exist warning and there'll be a cusory listing of MB models. It works with any chicken scratch selection.

FWIW, I suspect the foreign language text in restaurant menus tells those who speak the language what to avoid. "We found rodent droppings in the marinade but the locals don't seem to mind."
