I have a junkyard pulled unit in the car now and it's starting to get wonky...sometimes it wont fire, so I get out of the car, pop the hood, tap the box three times, sing a song about a chickenbone and it works...for a few days...while I would LOVE to know how to repair it ( and have a friend with a computer repair business who has a de-solder station ) I do have a new Hella bearing part number 4RV 008 188-02


wondering...i've heard the new ones have a "improvement" made that will have the plugs stay on for a few minutes after the car starts to improve cold start performance and reduce warmup time. ?Can anyone comment on this?

should I just go ahead and put this one in now? my logic or lack there of was to get along as long as I could on the old one. ?Any one have any thoughts on this?
