No 12v power at dash accesories

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on installing a custom stereo in my car. In addition to the stereo installation, I've taken out a lot of my interior to freshen it up and repair it. I also installed a Bosch AL129X alternator in it.

Today, I was working on a few things and decided to check my wiring for my head unit. I had already looked into it and found that my car has the black, brown and red wiring. As far as I knew, the red is the constant 12v, the brown is the common ground, and the black is the switched on 12v. When I first started this, I had done a test installation and everything was fine. I could measure 12v with a multimeter on the red and brown at all times, and 12v at black and brown while switched on.

So I wired it up tonight and nothing. I checked the red and brown with the multimeter and nothing. I even turned the car on and found no power going to any wire. I also noticed that with my driver seat out, the little buzzer does not ever come on. I know the driver seat has the little plug on the bottom of it. Could this be what's killing my 12v accessory wires? When I installed the alternator, I ran a larger wire to the batter from the alternator, but I also clipped the factory positive wire that goes to the terminal and put it in to my new terminal. The alternator does its job and doesn't cause the dash lights to all come on, so I'm assuming it's wired up correct. Could that plug under the seat be my cause here?

Thanks guys!

Welp, never mind all of that. For some reason my common sense is on vacation and I forgot to check the fuse. However, once I checked the fuses, I found one was popped. Replaced it and would you believe, I have power now. what a concept. haha
