Update on newbie owner

flex discs looked great no cracking which thanks to this forum for showing me to check those and a disaster it can be... but i did notice that the large body mounts in the rear are worn out.... and the fuel lines leak never leaked until i started using diesel klean... My turbo drain was also leaking.... There is a hole in my AC compressor..... speedometer is 5 mph off and tach is bouncy in the lower rpm range...

I shopvaced all the leaves and dirt out of vents and unclogged one drain. changed all the fluid and fixed all the vacuum leaks including the white flaps on top of valve cover.

I stuffed 4 bucks worth of pool noodles into my front seats to firm them up...

i found a very large joint under the seat which was funny ...

i put full ceramic brakes on using the shop forum and vacuum bleed new fluid in the lines which was green.... the car stops on a dime now.

My to do list is almost done... I just need an alignment and change the filter in my transmission.

The Heater blower worked fine for 3 weeks after the heater was unclogged but now is blowing fuses again when i start the car....

I have bosio injectors coming in the mail this week thanks to a good person on the forum for helping me. and new glow plugs.I am going to make a before and after video of the italian tune up so everyone can see the difference... Pretty much a perfect car where everything works normally....

mpg was 21 on my first tank and second tank was 24... i will post any changes with new injectors.

glad you have the brakes working now, but vacuum is not the preferred method for bleeding them on this car.
pressure is much better, and simpler to accomplish as well!
enjoy your car!

you were probably right about the bleed method cause now my brakes have gotten a tad spongy after two weeks of sitting.
