W126 versus W123 Window Squeegees

Does anyone know if a W126 window squeegee can be used on a W123 vehicle? If the W126 is longer I assume you can cut it to fit, its mainly rubber with a wire piece running through it. This is the piece on outside of car that the brushed aluminum trim runs parallel with it. Also plan to call dealer tomorrow to get a price.

Make some adjustments. Trim it to fit.

clips are differenrt and a PITA to replace
