X3

Please consider the request. Although I am going to be looking for one of those bumper stickers that Kerry mentioned.

Religion and politics have no place in DD!

I got mad because I didn't like the way He ran His universe and the way He dictated the direction of my life.

Fact of the matter is, I just don't have anything as valuable to Him as The Blood He paid for me. So, it was always a no go for a trade or take back. Now I'v matured spiritually and the duration of those time when I don't like the way He does things has shortened and become more infrequent too.

Now, all that being said, what one says means nothing. The only way a man show he belongs to God is to show God's love to others. You've shown a lot of patients with the 'adults,' here and the cheap shots directed at you for most of them learned the hard way about having two keys and keeping them separated. I'll admit, that is exactly the way I learned.

That is the listing of the page for Christian W123 owners. I think that is the name he will stay with. Certainly any Forum Member is invited and that would include "back sliders" Clemson88. The way I see it is that we are all backsliders - the only ones that are not are 6 feet under.
I'll try and join in over there. If no one tells them I crushed a 123 last month I might slide by.

I think a religious thread like this one would just generate mass arguments in OD... I think it would be best closed after a bit more time in the son...

Perhaps you could stick it in the bodywork section. It is plenty sonny in there.

Ahh, no worries John. It's just part and parcel of what is currently permitted on DD, despite clear TOU to the contrary:

In the last two months, I found all these gems:

Threads that belong in OD:

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/314072-portland-area-project-help-needed-pd.html

The crew...

Snow White :)

Is NADA a Racket?

My car is back on the market.

Threads that have a title that is not remotely connected to the problem:

Lots of questions.

I went and stuck my foot in it...

Would you be mad...

Oh What A Difference!

Mysterious symptoms

Gloom, despair and agony on me...

Howdy

After much drama

Is this what I think it is?

embarrassed to ask this question

As good as or better than ......

Don't let anybody push you around and try to make you moderate based upon the terms of use. People like it this way............when they can post anything they want on any forum that they want, with no repercussions.

As for the qualified mechanics on the site who are exasperated with the new format, just pretend that they are insignificant and they'll eventually go away.

Or any other religion.

And, from there the group might break down into even more sub-groups.

Protestants who want to only speak with other Protestants, Catholics who want to only speak with Catholics and so on.

That being said we all enjoy speaking with people of a like mind.

The issue is that without diversity in a group; group thinking has a greater potential to do harm; and, makes me suspect exclusive groups of People.

I would move to stop the thread. It has had enough exposure, and it was meaningfully started by a young man who hasn't been on the forum very long. We have started a Christian social group of W123 owners, but anyone, who drives any Mercedes, or if not a Mercedes Driver and is a member of the Forum, you are welcome. The URL has been posted on page 2. Go check it out.
