I am one. Sometimes I am both. Sometimes people say they are one & are another. I remember backsliding & riding my bike(cycle) one Sunday & receiving the finger from a lady driving a suburban right after she almost ran over me. Apparently going to church didn't help her or perhaps she's confused about how she's called to act - or perhaps she thought I deserved to be run over - since I wasn't in church.

If your primary interest is to talk to other christians, and secondly to talk with christians who drive 123s, you might consider starting a group on a christian board somewhere and ask if there are any mercedes 123 owners there.

Third,

I was joking about being a backslider and as far as remaining unaffiliated, well, thats just a plain old lie. I was born again 40 years ago. I'v seen some shaky times when I wanted to take my soul back from God-The-Father who bought it with the Blood of God-The-Son, Jesus. I got mad because I didn't like the way He ran His universe and the way He dictated the direction of my life.

Fact of the matter is, I just don't have anything as valuable to Him as The Blood He paid for me. So, it was always a no go for a trade or take back. Now I'v matured spiritually and the duration of those time when I don't like the way He does things has shortened and become more infrequent too.

Now, all that being said, what one says means nothing. The only way a man show he belongs to God is to show God's love to others. You've shown a lot of patients with the 'adults,' here and the cheap shots directed at you for most of them learned the hard way about having two keys and keeping them separated. I'll admit, that is exactly the way I learned.

That is the listing of the page for Christian W123 owners. I think that is the name he will stay with. Certainly any Forum Member is invited and that would include "back sliders" Clemson88. The way I see it is that we are all backsliders - the only ones that are not are 6 feet under.

Can I get a social group for "Left lane drivers that just want slow pokes to get out of the way so I can just get down the highway before my veins explode out the side of my head already just please move over the damn state law is keep right pass left already jeez laweez" ?

Or do you guys think that is a little too vague?

Best of luck with the group, not a member, but support your effort.

Fixed linky to worky.

And for the rest of you that had NO Idea what they are talking about...I asked the great google:

Backslider: To revert to sin or wrongdoing, especially in religious practice.

Well I must say that I am clearly not a backslider IMHO.

Hilarious.

Reminds me of games we played as children when we might exclaim "Do over!".

Because we all need to have a sense of humour. By doing so we are better able to take a step back and maintain proper perspective. I agree with Kerry and feel the post was not disrespectful or in bad taste.

Dear Mods,
I respectfully request that this thread be moved to the trash heap that is the open discussion. This is not a diesel-related discussion. Thanks for considering it.

X2

Hey John (vstech),
I cant see any connection to diesel in this thread.
Even in OD these threads have a habit of becoming nasty. A head ache you & other DD followers can do without ?
For some reason I suspect the mods in OD would keep a very close eye on it !!
