W201 - diff between frt and rear door checks?

What's the difference? Will they interchange?

Looking it up in the parts Tab, Fast Lane shows one for the front and one for the rear. so fronts evidently fit either front and rears the same.

Charlie, I think you have effectively confused the OP.


Given the parts are listed as different, one can assume they are different front to rear, thus no interchange.

They interchange left to right, not front/rear.

I am starting to have W123 door strap issues and am considering rebuilding mine. May seem crazy, but worth a try if they are still in decent shape.
