Rare bundt center caps
 

Found these metal center caps with hub cap type clips. Has anyone else seen any like these before? I've searched for and pulled many good plastic centers but never have I seen any remotely close to these and they're heavy too.

Do they fit in a normal bundt wheel? I wonder if they were intended for something special like a 450sel 6.9 or something....

They were on a 1982 300TD.

My car has those.

Yeah, I have a polished set stuck on some ronal r9's. I believe they were originally spec'd on w108, w116, and maybe early w123 cars. But only when bundts were equipped from factory, which was more rare in the late sixties and seventies. They are hard to find these days... Probably r107 too, or any car of the era with bundts as standard or option.

I've got two of those, in dire need of paint. Couldn't wait to get a complete set so I bought a set of 4 new plastic ones instead. :D

My '81 300SD has the original caps and they are plastic.

I have those on my 300D.

yes --except its r107 (450sl and w116 that had em on the ones with polished bundt wheel package.

Polished bundts from factory??? I never knew...

they probabaly are worth a premium to the right person with a concours car.
