123 300D wiper arm removal

Am I missing something here? I've undone the nut on my wiper arm but I still can't get the damned arm off the spindle.I'd lever with a screwdriver but I'd rather not stuff the paintwork accidently!Any help would be appreciated:-Bear

Rotate the plastic cover back into its original position, then lift the arm up and wiggle it a bit to loosen it from the spindle - a bit of penetrating oil might help. This has worked for me on several M-B's and other cars/trucks. If this does not work, then put a shop towel or other padding around the spindle and then pry it off. Hopefully someone did not mis-position the arm and buggered the splines on the spindle which can make getting the arm off harder or some other mistake installing the arm making it hard to remove.

Good Luck!
Tom

You will have to pry or wiggle and pull on the arm to free it. I believe it is on a tapered spline and if it is stuck it just needs to be popped off. Good Luck, Jim
