White 3.2mm contitech fuel hose

Only Pelican seems to stock the high temperature stuff from contitech in white with the orange stripe. Does anyone know what the genuine MB stuff is? Is it black or white, and is it the highest temperature stuff like the contitech white hose?

I ordered the Mercedes-Benz hose from Pelican and got the light grey/white with orange stripe variety. That was about 6 - 8 months ago.

So, it seems that there are multiple makers that have white/orange hose.

Pelican claims that the conti stuff is better (higher temperature). The MB stuff could just as well be the febi hose I can get for $5/m.

If PP had the contitech stuff in stock I'd just buy it and be done. They don't. But I'd like the better/hi temp stuff.

The greyish with pink stripe seems to have slightly more longevity but I cannot say if that has anything to do with heat resistance or simply it is made out of different material.

I ordered the MB hose because Pelican didn't have the Conti stuff in stock. The hose I got seems to be of great quality. Sure seems nicer than the black hose from various makers I had been using. When fitting it I had to use a fair amount of force to get the hose over the barbed fittings. Couldn't say if it's the higher temp stuff, but so far so good with it.

I always thought it was grayish white with an orange stripe. That's what has always been on all my w123 cars. Is there a pink stripe version too?

Over here in the UK the genuine Benz hose is light grey and orange stripe.
Recently fitted to to my w210 e300td.
Aftermarket hose went soft and weeped bio diesel through its pores after around ten weeks after fitting, the original grey/orange hose that was on cylinder 3 to 6 had turned rock hard and broke when attempting removal but it never suffered any ill effects from the bio fuel.

Also very hard when squeezed between fingers compared to the motorfactors stuff which can be collapsed.
