So - hopefully by now this car is running again. What was the problem?
I just acquired a '97 E300, and have what I assume is an air leak problem. It started fine when I got it, and ran long enough to pull inside my shop. Car had front end hit, so no cooling system and ran it only a couple minutes at a time. Progressively got harder to start and now won't - sounds like air getting in to me. I'm just not familiar with the 606 yet, and looks like the intake is pretty much blocking view of the fuel system. The clear lines I can see all look to be full of fuel... What's the best way to prime this thing? |

My pre-filter didn't come with o'rings. If it did I wouldn't have had a problem with the fuel system needing the be primed as I replaced the pre-filter without the o'ring.
But I digress....I'm not 100% sure but I think the smaller o'ring is for the fuel return line fitting that is on top of the pre-filter. That's my best guess. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk |

^ After 5 1/2 years, I'm guessing Charlie has either resolved the problem, or has long since moved on.
