84 300 T-Diesel Trans Replacement/Reseal
Reseal will need to be done soon. Was wondering if it is possible to go on and swap out the trans with a rebuilt 85.
Will the 85 trans fit (and work) on the 84? I heard that the 85 trans was the most developed one - can anyone confirm? On a side note - wasnt there somebody on these forums trying to fit a 5 speed to a TDiesel?

Are we talking about a 300SD or 300D or? If the trans is the same number 722.xxx as each other I dont see why they wouldnt work.

I dont see a reason why it wouldnt, as long as they're the same engine and transmission models. Someone more versed in 123 stuff might chime in here.
