Sick buzzer at start up. Any ideas?
Hey, folks, in the last few days, when I turn the key to engage the glow plugs, The buzzer sounds like it's got laryngitis, and sometimes cuts out completely, or goes off and on while it makes its sickly sound. Any suggestions on troubleshooting this? Thanks for any ideas.

If it is the safety belt warning buzzer then there are 2 ways to fix it.
1) Easy way - belt up before turn on key 2) Proper way - there is a relay inside the under dash panel. IIRC, I think it is right above the hood release lever. It should be a 2" x 3" x 1" silver relay box. Good luck.

The buzzer in my 300D is the same. Sounds awful. At some point the buzzer in my 240D was disconnected. I can't tell if this had any effect on any other car systems.
