Anyone in Southern Oregon?

I'm in Wolf Creek (just North of Grants Pass) with a friend's 81 300SD that has a broken axle.

Lookin for a cheap but experienced Indy/DIY Mechanic

not a lot of tools or experience is needed to change it...

a jack, jackstands, a 13mm socket, a 15mm socket, and a dental pic... some silicone, and gear oil... and of course the replacement axle...

Don`t be surprised if it doesn`t cost about $600 having a shop do it.

Well, probably not that much down here, but even $300 is more than I can really pay

The tools at a 'harbor freight' wouldnt cost $50. Add in a 14mm allen to get the fill (first) and drain plugs out of the differential.

Many well written how to's here on the whole process too.
