Weird sunroof leak

Best I can tell, the headliner of the sunroof is holding water after a rain. When you open the door and inspect for leaks, the interior is dry. When you sit in the driver's seat, water pours out of the left front corner of the sunroof on to your lap. When I back out of my driveway, which further tilts down the lh front corner of the sunroof I can easily get a pint or more of water in my lap.

The sunroof's rain gutter is clean and does not leak. The drains have been blown out and I've tested all 4 to verify that they do drain. I've opened the sunroof after a rain to verify that the gutter is not holding water. Somehow water that should be going into the gutter is instead making it's way on top of the sunroof headliner. Has anyone run into this before?

Only once. We had about 18 inches of rain over a weekend about a month ago and the first time I drove the 300D after that I had a pool of water in the headliner that dripped onto my son who was sitting in the back driver side seat. He was not amused at all.

Getting a lap full of 40 degree water first thing in the morning when I'm late for work and having to go back inside to change clothes doesn't amuse me either
