My birthday is coming up, and I've always wanted a 300D manual transmission and conversion goodies

there are zero 300D/240D cars here in my area. Closest one to me is about 250 miles away and they closed

Today we pulled the parts off this 280TD, 4-spd trans, shift rods, shifter, front section of the Drive line, trans X-mount, peddle assy, and hydraulic lines.

This is a Euro model, with blue cloth seats (not worth pulling) some rust, seems this car came from back east and got its yearly salt douch.

Most every thing came right off except for the driveline which seemed to be welded to the rear flex disc.

Tomarrow the parts will be in the trunk of a 240D on the way to Calif.

Thanks Kurt for post this.

Thanks, but the parts are in my Bro In Laws 240 going to Calif., we are up here for another week in our 240. We both caravaned up here last Wed for our Grand Daughters, his Niece 3rd BD. she is a BIG 3, .

We replaced the front Struts on my Daughters 94 Ford Tarus wagon, what a PITA job. did one side the day before, and the day of PNP we did the right side, then hit the 2 PNP`s. These old W123`s are so much easier to work on.
