Hi guys, we just bought a beautiful 1988 190D with some blower motor issues. Currently the blower doesn't work at all, so we decided to do some diagnosis. We found out that the strip fuse for the blower motor was either cracked in half or blown, probably the latter, so a new one of those is in the mail. However, we also noticed that the "blower motor resistor pack"'s cover, you know the square one with all the holes in it that goes over all the spring-type-things behind the battery, it was completely detached from its backing and just floating there. The pic below is the cover.

I tried putting it back on, but it just floats on top of the springs and doesn't click into place. I'm not even sure where near those springs it would click into place. What do I do now? Should I buy a new blower resistor? Should I just forgo the cover entirely? Should I just let it float there? Below is a pic of what the springs look like. These live underneath where the cover should be.
