Another road trip thread. Compiling lists of garages in central PA/upstate NY.
As the title says...
I'll be taking our W115 to upstate NY to reunite with her original owner over the Memorial Day weekend. I'm starting in central WV, headed north and east into Maryland then up central PA into the Finger Lakes region. I've done an incredible amount of work in the past year and had her looked over, so I'm reasonably confident that I won't need AAA. But if I do, I'd appreciate a list of qualified mechanics along the route.

Actually if I could add my $0.02, I live just north of there and sometimes cross into Northern NY State (Ogdensburg area).
If anyone knows of a decent shop in that region, I'd appreciate the info as well, for emergency purposes.....

I've been talking with Jacobs automotive in syracuse. I've also been talking with Diesel dicks in syracuse. I live along Keuka lake and wish I could find somebody closer. I can't really recommend anybody thats in the fingerlakes region. I'll keep my eye's open, maybe our paths will cross somewhere.
