W123 Fuel shutoff valve source?
Moderately sacrilegious perhaps, but the recent price increase of the fuel shutoff valve is ridiculous. So on the fcp euro site i was looking at 85 300D stuff and the 'fuel injector solenoid' looks just like a shutoff valve, so I ordered one. For $58.60. The cheapest I could find it other wise was for $134. I'll report back if it is actually a shutoff valve. And I still need gaskets, but I can make those.

There's a picture on here of an electric solenoid on a 115 gasser retrofitted to diesel on Malta (if my memory serves me right). The price for that valve is outrageous.

It's the right part. Still too expensive, but the cheapest till someone finds a workaround. The part and PN:
