Need help finding a thread on 87 trans. vac. line reroute

I read a thread a while back showing how to re route your vac. lines for the trans on an 87 300D so it shifts a little smoother.
now I cant find it, can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance

If you go under the hood and find the vacuum pump, there will be a small line that extends from the pump. After about six inches, that line will have a five way or a four way connector attached. Two of those lines will extend to the right side of the vehicle (passenger side). Cut those lines and plug the two holes on the supply side.

The hard shifts will disappear.

You can also purchase the "F" connector from the dealer to replace the five way (or four way) for a better look underhood. The part number is on here in several places.

that little box on the side of the IP, it has two vacuum hoses going into the top of it and a Black plastic vacuum line coming out of the lower side of it, that looks like it heads back towards the trans.
does the black line not get messed with?
Sorry, Im still kinda new to the whole trans vacuum line reroute thing.
I don't want to skrew it up.
any pics or vids would greatly help.

The little box on the side of the IP is on the LEFT side of the vehicle. You are not going to mess with anything on the LEFT side. You are simply going to disconnect and plug the lines going to the RIGHT side.

Understood?

Okay, so I did exactly what you told me to do. I took off the 2 lines going to the pass. side of the vehicle and plugged off the source and while I was in there I found an other vac line headed towards the trans off the 5 way that was totally disintegrated. so i replaced that also.
Made all the world of difference.

Thanks Alot, Once again this forum saved me.
