Another T gauge question: what are the unmarked temperatures?
 

My '68 W115 220D has the same dash as the early 240D and 300D vehicles. I don't have an owners manual for my vehicle, but tracked down an electronic version of the 240D/300D manual. I am confused by the temperature gauge in my car, and I have attached a snapshot from the 240D/300D manual to demonstrate. What are the unmarked temperatures? Obviously, 100F, 175F and 250F are marked. Since those are 75 deg apart, does that mean the unmarked intermediate temps are 137.5F and 212.5F? The non-linear scale complicates this a little.

I'd guess roughly 212f, it's 100c/212f on the newer cars but can't say for certain what it is on yours. Still, if I were a betting man I'd put it on those odds.:)

I'd guess you're close. You could verify and/or check the accuracy with non-contact IR thermometer.
