Does not smoke... but has oil droplets in exhaust fumes!
My old lady a 83 - 300 SD is running great! However, I noticed lately that back end has little oil spots on the paint! I took the trailer off the other day and got oily fingers! She must blows unburned oil out the exhaust but does not smoke at all. Could my turbo act up? Is there an oil leak? How do I diagnose what is going on? Thanks for your help! I try to keep her she only has 160k miles on the clock.

Yes, turbo could send oil down the exhaust pipe.

It could, but at that point in the exhaust system, the oil should be converted into at least some smoke. Look for a leak on the engine, perhaps the valve cover, rear seal (hope not), or the turbo or air filter oil drain system.

I checked the filter oil drain system and I used got a quart of oil in the drain system. It ran slow put it should be plenty for the blow off! How can I check the turbo? It is getting worse! I check under the car while it is running. The only place I see drops of oil hanging down is the injector pump and I think I need a gasket on the throttle control arm and the turbo where it sucks in the air! Any help is highly appreciated! How much oil was "burned?" In other words, is it using oil? My truck spots up the camper something awful. It doesn't use any oil. I think mine is from water vapor loosening up soot on the way out. Just a guess though.
