ABS Sensor Installation
My newly-acquired 300SDL is missing the front ABS sensors...PO simply removed them since they had deteriorated. I have found a used pair in good working condition. Other than plugging in both ends and securing the cable, what do I need to know to install them properly?
Thanks.

It's been several years since I've played with the ABS front wheel sensors. Had both mine out to clean and one had to be replaced. Look in the little hole with a flashlight and rotate the hub so you can inspect the toothed wheel. Blow or brush out any dirt, rust, etc. The sensor attaches with one bolt. Use blue Loc-Tite on the bolt. I don't remember whether the electrical connectors are polarized or not. Mercedes is pretty good about fixing the connectors so they can't go together the wrong way.
