Ive seen accidents here before off this stretch of hwy , up to 4 cars involved in some cases.Tooling around in the 300cd yesterday and as I pulled out on the freeway it was clear the lane ahead was building traffic .I slowed as well did a toyota behind me but watching behind him I could see clearly a non observant s.o.b. in a suburban at full click.I turned and drove down the shoulder with the toyota right behind,I looked back up in the rearview to see the guy smoking tires as he braked to avoid rearending the lanes traffic ,no crash heard but man I felt like I just avoided death with seeing the speed this guy was driving.In Pulling back into traffic I let the Toyota pull in frt ,as he drove by he signed over a thanks for the help.Later down the off ramp I see the suburban ,the guy has his music blaring and a lg. dog sitting in the frt seat,some idiot kid which will cetainly meet his maker behind a wheel ,just hope no ones around to be involved in his idiousey.

When Iam driving, I try to look way up ahead to see what is happening, when I see a lot of brake lights coming on, I start backing off befor Iam suddenly in the quickly slowing traffic and in trouble. when I slow down the guy behind, swings around and floors it and cuts back in front only to jamb on his brakes and grinding to a hault. At least that idiot is now in front of me.

I also have one eye on the rearview mirror, guess you did too.
I`ll tap the brake peddle a bunch of times to maybe wake up the guy behind. Hopefully.

Have you done the 4 brake light mod? really brightens thing up a bit.


You mentioned a dog. you always see someone with a little yapping dog in their arms looking out the window. couple days ago I see this guy flying through the intersection in a full size Chevy jacked up PU, and a HUSKY dog looking out the drivers window.. a disaster waiting to happen.

it's not suburbans, it is the drivers... I AVOIDED a tbone situation a few weeks ago in my suburban... pulling through a left turn light around 11pm, saw the moron to my left totally unaware her light was red... flew past me about 40 mph, DESTROYED the front of the car in the lane beside me that did not see her coming...
I felt the drag on my front end as she GRAZED in front of me... totally blew the front of her car apart, and ripped the front off the car to my right... the engine dragging the pavement is likely the only thing that stopped her... I got out, made sure the lady beside me was ok, and went to help the girl, she was scared of course, and claimed her brakes did not work... RIIIIIGHT.... I'm guessing she was tired, and on her cellphone, totally distracted.
