Oil Filter Change

Does anyone know what is the Mann part number for an oil filter for a 74 300D? Is it the same as an 80 300D? My lookup only goes back as far as 80

Fastlane doesn't show is 1974 300D. Earliest is 1975 which appears to take a Mann PF925 oil filter.

74-76 should be the same. 77 and later will be different.

Wasn't it the 240D 3.0 in 1974?

The US Mann online catalog only goes back to 1980. This Euro catalog goes back further by series - https://www.mann-hummel.com/mf_prodkata_eur/index.html?ktlg_page=1&ktlg_lang=1

The washable screen filter # is 0001845725
The throw away filter # is 0001800209

All 615, 616, 617 engines used in passenger cars up to 1976 use these oil filters.
