'85 190d W201 sprung a leak
Changed the leaking delivery valve o-rings about 10K miles back. Noticed it started feeling rough at idle 2 days back. Raised the hood expecting to find a bad engine shock or motor mount. Instead discovered a small stream of diesel shooting out of the top of the rear most delivery valve where the hard line connnects. Got a wrench on it and tightened it down a bit with no change. Anyone been through this before? Any suggestions?

Yes ,these 190d lines are a pos in my book ,very flimsey and require the lines to be very well supported .Ive used vac hose and zip ties with some success after most of the support line setup broke appart while dissassembly. You will need another line ,matbe from a junk yard,I made a 240d line work before in a pinch ,just much hard to bend for placement.Remember that once they start to leak its impossible to tighten them to seal again.

Is replacing a single line OK or do all 4 lines need to be replaced as a group? Not much for junk yard surfing. I didn't see replacements on the Fastline site. Are new replacement lines available pre-bent or does one have to shape their own?

New lines and clip assembly will run just north of $100.You have to buy the set.Keep the good old ones as back ups.

$65.36 for fuel line #4 from Phil. If another goes out I'll be wishing I'd ordered the full set for $100.
