Winmutt, thanks, I'll check the diff mounts. Fluid change? I've owned the vehicle for about a year, have done oil changes only.
I'm about to put it into the garage for the winter. Looks like I have a few winter projects.

I replaced both axle shafts with remanufactured ones, problem solved. Yes it was relatively easy. can both be done in a day
