Turbo not working on '85 300

The turbo has stopped working some time ago and I am wondering what steps I can take to start checking hookup and parts to try to determine culprit. The car runs pretty good even without, but obviously it's not performing. The impeller spins when I turn it with my finger and overall the car is in pretty good shape. There are no glaring visible broken parts, but I guess I am not sure yet what I should be looking for.

Could anyone please give me a checklist of what to look at?

Thanks!

Check to see if the alda/overboost protection line going from the manifold to the overboost/alda is not broken or disconnected. No line. No boost pressure.

Agreed, also check to see if said line is clogged.

Here's a pic I found online. Is the line in question the one that the guy is holding?

Thanks.

That is one end of it. The other end is at the Back of the Intake Manifold where there is a Banjo Bolt. Often the Banjo Bolt is clogged with crud.

A problem with the Waste Gate opening too soon will decease the amount of Boost pressure.

The pics are from different cars , but the plumbing is the same.

I removed the line and sprayed brake cleaner to rinse it clean, re-installed with new crush washers.

That's my hand in the above pic too.
