Finally got a Mityvac...

Well after 10 years as a seat of the pants MB diesel owner, I finally picked up the Mityvac Silverline Kit of ebay for under $50. I guess I will be busy check out the general vacuum pump, then move on the adjusting the transmission the proper way and then onto the climate control system. Time to seach and play. Another suggested threads? I also order a vacuum pump and manifold gauges to tackle the r134 a/c system. Thanks.

Way to go Edge! Every one needs a Mity Vac. Especially on these diesels where we so often seem to be running low on leaking artificial vacuum. Then those gassers are way ahead of of us with there ever abundant supply of natural vacuum!

Well it`s about time, sure don`t want to rush into things.

Think I have the same Mity-Vac, sure saved me a bunch of money once I found out what all the different colored lines were.
