300cd teleflex sunroof cable tube removal
Do I really have to remove the windshield to get the teleflex tube out? I've flushed it with brake cleaner. It's clean as a whistle inside. The cable seems to hit an impediment about an inch before it goes through the back of the sunroof frame. I actually have the rear windshield seal, as there is a spot of rust on the left bottom corner on the outside of the rear windshield and I plan on pulling the windshield out to make sure the rust hasn't traveled deep into the car where I cannot see...but I'm hoping there's a way to get the teleflex tube out without dismantling so much...
Anybody have any thoughts on this? Thanks, David |
Anybody? Teleflex tube removal sunroof...windshield?
Still not sure how to proceed here regarding teleflex tube. Must I really remove rear windshield to get this thing out? Somebody?

nothing really to add here, except that i recently removed my teleflex cable, cleaned it and relubed it. when i went to reinstall it, it hit numerous "snags" along the way, including one that i thought was impenetrable. i kept working it and eventually it went all the way in. whatever the "snag" was does not affect operation of the sunroof.. as it is now fully operational
