Hi to all: I am considering replacing the trans fluid in my new to me 98 E300D. I can see the oval hole in the bellhousing that allows access to the torque converter plug. Is there supposed to be a rubber cover for this hole? If so would a plug from any other E 320 with the same series trans match up. Hard to find salvage W210 diesels.
