If you Plan to remove the Fuel Injection Pump there is a Timing/Locking Pin that can be used.

Is this Engine Oil that is Leaking?
Some typical Engine Oil leak areas are the Throttle Shart, The Steel Cover on the side of the Pump and the Pan at the bottom.

Thank you for responding. Yes it is leaking from throttle shaft, side and bottom plates. Do I have to set the engine to particular degree before removing the IP? Is there any small parts will off behind the side and bottom plate one I remove them?

Sorry for misspelling and poor grammar. Ones I pull out the IP, is there any small parts or springs that will be falling off by removing the side, bottom plates?

The only thing that is sould come out of the Bottom Plate when it is removed is dirty Oil.

Nothing should come out of the Side Plate.

If the Screws that go through the Side Plate are exposed to Oil on the other side put a drop of Loctite on them to keep the Oil from coming around the threads on the Screws.

It has been a while but several of our other Members have changed thel Throttle Shaft O-rings. Not sure if there is a good thread with Pics on that but it is worth a look.
