Size of injection pump main bolt?

Hey guys,

Anyone know what the size of the main bolt is that holds the drive gear to the pump shaft?

I know it's left hand thread but is it M10 or M12? Thread pitch?

Thanks!

Between all off the years and Models of Mercedes Diesel Cars why would someone assume that all of the Fuel Injection Pumps have the same size.
As an example my MW Pump has a Nut that holds on the Drive Gear; not a bolt.

Need more information.

Oops, in my haste to post the question while it was on my mind, I forgot to add:

OM602, 603, 605, 606, etc...

And, no, I don't need to see the rules, I made a mistake, I'm not a little kid. Sheesh.

I'm with you.

I'm tired of the the incessant original posts without any proper vehicle. The fact that such behavior is pernitted without any moderation to correct it will further degrade the forum.

Since we have no moderator that will direct the OP to the rules, I strongly suggest that all folks ignore any original post that does not have the year and model of the vehicle.

The defense of the inability of such people is beyond comprehension.

Of course, you cannot tell the difference between the inability to spell and a typographical error.

But, that's certainly no surprise..............

Admitting making an error !! How could that be ?? Its not even Friday night on your side of the pond !!

Come on BC admit it, its ironic to criticize some one while making an error yourself !!
We will all just laugh & hope you can to !!

Sooooo, anyone know the size of that OM606, 603, etc... injection pump drive gear bolt?

I originally posted the thread from my phone and the format is just different enough to throw me off.

Won't happen again...
