Thanks Qwerty! I found a diagram that calls a relay in the fuse box a "compressor time delay relay" with (ACC) next to it... is that the one? Of course, the diagram says "as of model year 1984". I can't find a difinitive answer (in writing) for '83 models

On an '82, it's the relay closest to fuse 15. That's the best I can do.
