Missed This.....

The first time 'round .

I dislike door works a lot as they're so fiddly and often the threading of the wires, vacuum pipes and so on must be done in a specific order to ensure you can get the larger bits through the holes, grommets etc. .

It's been a long time since I did the doors I remember those black ties things are very important .

Love your clear inside door pictures .

83 and still working, I now have a new target to reach .

I remove the door stop then fish all the wires back to the accordion joining the door and body. I cut the vacuum line and put a rubber vacuum connector on it to connect it to the new door vac system.

If you mount the replacement door and fish the wires into it before you hook the stop up to the body it gives you a lot more room to work.

You can cut them, they are abit to feed out of the location , just use good quality vacuum line to reconnect them after your done . The wires you can snap shot a photo , undo and feed out of the door before unbolting anything , a 13 mm I believe , these doors are a little to align once replacing , they can slide with the bracket . I would sharpey an outline of the arm against the body so you get the position the same for the replacement door .
