84 w123 300d potentiometer climate control mono valve

Is there a way to test the climate control unit to verify that it is working properly?

I assume the dial on the ACC regulates how much the mono valves opens.

Any idea how to measure the current at the mono valve?

I think mine if fried because my ac is blowing hot and I don't think the mono valve is working properly. I took the mono valve apart but there are no tears in the rubber diaphragm.

I'm going to install the 1amp fuse tip on the aux water pump.

I was thinking about clamping the water hose going to the heater core.
Has anyone done this?

Thx

Pete

Except when the dial is in the detent positions or when OFF or DEFROST are selected, the monovalve is under the control of the electronic unit for temperature control. (There is more to "the ACC" than just the push button unit.)

If the acc was fried from the aux pump, is there a way to fix it?

Thx
