It helps if you have a low mileage motor like JamesDean's and then you can dictate a favorable regiment for the rest of it's service life.

I couldnt upload it here because I had already attatched it in another thread but here it is. I am about 500 miles away from hitting the 5k mark so I will be able to compare the results with this one, except I added two quarts of oil after the sample was taken to make up for a leaking valve cover gasket which was repaired before drawing the sample, but not filled back up before taking it.

my oil analysis. opinions wanted...

Although higher then other reports, I wouldn't worry too much on the lead count. I think the number is in the high acceptable range. The number could be from a variety of reasons, including not driving it as a daily. All other numbers look normal although the oil is still young.

Hopefully the next report keeps the lead levels the same or lower.
