tach 300sd 300td swap / parting 300SD
 

Hi All,
I have an 79 300SD I am parting out and a 79 euro 300TD manual wagon, non turbo. I am wondering whether I can swap the clock from the TD for the tach + clock from the SD, hook it up, and expect it to work.

And if anyone needs 300SD parts, let me know. Much of it is good, and it runs, but it has some ugly rust and mice. I'm in CT.

If it fits physically, yes. No reason why not, since "hook it up" will involve transplanting all the wiring (not much, but still).

What color is your 116 interior?

its blue. white headliner.
